Leo

July 23-August 23

While Aries says, “I am”. Leo says=”I am somebody”. Leo goes beyond individuality to personality-the idea of a person with both a rich inner and outer life who makes a real impact on the world around them.

Leo says-“I lead”. And Leo does through a combination of confidence, self-assertion, and one hopes, self-knowledge.

Leo makes conscious choices of a life path-planning the moves and even working towards an outcome. Even the most undisciplined Leo likes running their life if nothing else.

Leo Presidents: Benjamin Harrison: Descended from a Founding Father and grandson of a President, Benjamin Harrison worked hard for his own legacy. He built the U.S Navy into a modern global force. He passed the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. He provided pensions to disabled Civil War Veterans. He created up to 22 million acres for national forest reserves, and preserved Casa Grande. Helped create the PAN American Union. Made Frederick Douglass an ambassador to Haiti. Tried to enforce African-American voting rights but failed in Congress.

Herbert Hoover: Of all of the Leo Presidents, he was the least liked, and it seems for fairly good reasons. In his earlier life, he was known as a pretty good, pretty compassionate executive. He

Bill Clinton: Revived the economy, saved Kosovo, encouraged the development of the internet, and was a compassionate interlude between Daddy and Son Bush.

Barack Obama: It will be a while before we can really get the good perspective on his eight years. But he saved the economy, which at the time was losing 700k jobs a month. He ended Osama Bin Laden and the terrorist threat he represented. He helped jump start the New Green Economy by sponsoring alternative energy projects and “Cash For Clunkers”. His terms were literally scandal-free. Goes without saying that he was a patron of the arts and encouraged diversity in all things.

Leo The Lion
Leo

Leo is Fixed Fire. Fixed is steadfast, fire is enthusiasm. The combination of the two means that Leo takes an idea and persistently gives those ideas his/her enthusiasm despite setbacks.
