Earth: Woodland Creatures

Gajner Palace
Brown Bear Alaska

Wolves howling are a reminder of the hollow, empty sort of winter. Winter with bare branches with peeling bark, empty gravel paths. And its all gray, black, gray with only evergreens for color. And silent, as humanity has gone inside for most of the season.

Yes, there are skiiers, and hikers, and even bold winter campers. But where the wolves howl freely few walk, few live.

There is more exploring the world below your feet. Mountains, caves, hills, valleys and the deep places under the earth. And for the less venturesome, there’s always the pathways in the forest and in the parks. Feel grounded as you pound the ground itself. Always look down a little.
